Facilities

Loch Broom Sailing Club has a small club house that has a small lounge area, primitive changing room, outside shed store, toilet and small kitchen with a kettle and microwave. There are no showers. Access is by a key code.

Members are expected to keep the club clean, and switch off lights if last to leave. No smoking inside the clubhouse.

There are two substantial picnic tables in front of the clubhouse and barbecue. These are used for social events and are available for use on an ad-hoc basis.

The hardstanding is in part owned by the Ullapool Harbour Trust and in part by the sailing club. There is always a shortage of space, but with care, members tenders and dinghies can be squeezed in or stored against the wall. Trailers and boats not in regular use must be stored off site. Access must be maintained between the ramp to shore street, the slipways and wee pier.

Cars must not be left unattended on the hardstanding. The hardstanding is accessible to the public and a popular through route for residents and tourists.

Please be considerate and do not leave clutter – if this builds up it will be purged!
